Nature beaches away from the city
Not every beach is a city beach. In Eilat, the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea there are beaches that feel different — a different landscape, a calmer vibe, and sometimes quiet you won’t find in central Tel Aviv. We gathered them here.
The Mediterranean city beaches are convenient and close, but they are also the busiest at the height of summer. If you want a different landscape and fewer crowds, head for the nature beaches — Eilat’s coral reefs, the mountain-ringed Sea of Galilee beaches, and the Dead Sea with its unique water.
Note that many nature beaches are not declared bathing beaches with a permanent lifeguard — before entering the water, check whether there is a lifeguard and emergency services, and respect the reserve or park rules. Some Sea of Galilee beaches allow BBQ in designated areas only.
The list below includes the nature beaches in our portal, each with real-time sea conditions and UV index.
